So, where are the best Cardiff City Stadium Parking options?
JustPark
JustPark is an online parking platform that lets you secure a parking space before your travels. If you’ve managed to catch any of our other parking blogs, you’ll know by now I’m a big fan of JustPark.
Their online platform is pretty seamless and really does help with matchday parking, as people rent out driveways using the site allowing you to get some spaces pretty close to the ground. I’d always advise booking as far in advance as possible to get the best price.
On average, I’ve found you’ll be looking to pay under £10 for a parking spot, which isn’t terrible if you’re splitting it with other fans.
CISC Car Park
If you’re looking for parking at Cardiff City Stadium, then you could check out the parking at the stadium itself. They have roughly 1,500 spaces here which you can pay for on arrival. However, my experience with parking here is that it fills up extremely quickly and getting out after kick-off can be a nightmare.
CISC car parking is another option ran by Cardiff City House of Sport. Located on Leckwith Road, this car park is only a short walk away from the ground and is a popular choice for fans. Parking spaces can be pre-booked using the link below:
YourParkingSpace
Similar to JustPark, YourParkingSpace is another online platform that allows you to pre-book a parking space. I’ve found them pretty useful when looking to park in actual car parks, instead of street parking near Cardiff City Stadium.
Prices are pretty similar to JustPark, you’ll be looking to pay on average below £10 for a spot. Once again, be sure to book as far in advance as possible to secure the best spots and best pricing, as prices rise closer to match-time!
NCP Car Park
You’re probably familiar with NCP car parks (they’re everywhere), and there is one not too far from the ground. It’s located in Cardiff Central so it’s around a 30-minute walk from the stadium. However, there are some great pubs en route which you can check out and there is public transport to take you to the stadium.
As with all NCPs, prices aren’t cheap. Matchday parking here could set you back £20 if you pay on the day, or £15 if you book in advance using the NCP website. Besides the price, I’ve never had any troubles with NCP car parks and they are usually pretty secure – so this is definitely an option to consider if you fancy checking out what else Cardiff has to offer apart from football.
Castle Court, Westgate Street, Cardiff, CF10 1DB
Gol Centres
Gol Centres, a prime choice for away fans, is conveniently located just a 15-minute stroll away from the stadium. The only drawback is that exiting after the match might be a bit time-consuming, given its location at the far end of a cul-de-sac.
Pricing is one of the cheapest you’ll find at £5 for matchday parking. As with all matchday parking, I’d recommend getting down here early as it does fill up relatively quickly.
Lawrenny Ave, Cardiff CF11 8BR
